Hey all, new here, have my Hawk Heliums, Saddle in the mail, have tether and linemans belt, working on my platform still... What are some of your must know things when it comes to saddle hunting, what should us new guys be looking out for?
 
I would say for sure spend some good time reading on here and most of all get a couple practice runs in before you go on a hunt. Get your system dialed in so you know what to expect. Set everything up even your gear hanger, bow....etc

YouTube also has some great videos of people climbing/setting up. G2outdoors page has pretty much everything you need to know about saddle hunting. That's probably where I would start.
