Next generation - start them early

Dad of 3 girls here, wish I had the blooded face pic on my phone of the oldest, got her good when elbow deep. The middle is excited about everything opportunity she gets to be in the woods and or saddle… taking over many of my practice sessions. And the all the girls love science class when we dissect critters…. They also love to eat bunny chicken!

Started my little man off right and got him a longbow when he was 3. He can sling them pretty good. He also loves to climb. I’m trying to figure the best way to get him out with me a couple times next year just to get him to see a deer.

Little man is progressing nicely. Trying to keep it fun for him and he’s been having a blast. Got a .5 last year and took him hunting once but I think it was still too early for him.

Probably try again this year he’s been asking to go.

My kid finally sat still long enough for a kill. It was a short sit after his final baseball game of the fall so I assumed it was his best chance of making it. We were very short on time so I didn’t even change and he still has eye black on from the game. Two does were under the stand when we got there that we had to run off but one of them came back about 30 minutes later. Kid was asking me to shoot the doe but I stalled just long enough t catch a glimpse of this guy coming in behind her.

I been doing this for 8 years now and I know I can't! :tearsofjoy: But then again I'm old and inflexible , , , and my body doesn't bend like it used to either. :tearsofjoy:
