Halloween / muzzleloader opener / first snowfall / small public buck down.
Deer came out close to stand before first light and circled back around 15 minutes after sunrise to give a clean 40yd shot.
Could hear him crunching the snow long before I could see him.

Feels good, after riding the strugglebus all archery season with a shoulder hit - no recovery and a rainy hit with my first ever call to a blood tracking dog.
I’ve learned a lot and stoked on picking up a saddle finally .
( I’m inconsistent with twisting shots to either backside and CLOSE shots. That’s right I said Close. ) be gentle

thanks to @Razorbak66 for help on the drag and getting me in the woods when I was still licking my wounds.

Congrats buddy. Yeah Been tough here for me to this season. Seems like im finding fresh deer sign everywhere but not the deer.
