No Aider - One Stick?

Great thread on knaider and swaider. I just ordered the parts listed in that thread from strapworks.com. Cost me a hefty $20 including shipping and splurging for powder coating on a few of the components. I got a few more parts so that I wouldn't have to sew, but may end up doing that if I try it and get it dialed in.

Have a foot loop for SRT that can double duty as the swaider. Looking forward to giving this a try.

I'm definitely going to try the "one stick" method. I'm retiring in a couple of months and I'll have plenty of time to get it all perfected before the hunting seasons, this fall. I just placed an order for a Figure 8, some 10mm climbing rope and some Dynaglide string. As soon as it warms up, I'll try it all out and put it to good use.

The multi step aider is why I never tried one sticking. I do not feel comfortable on a aider with my toe to the tree. If i use a cable aider or versa aider and i put my foot side ways, like i was climbing with tree steps I am OK. You may want to give this a try.

EWO webbing aiders are better in my opinion than wire aiders. Using an aider is all about technique. I have not had a kick out in years
