No jokes. Do you crazies really saddle hunt in Crocs?

I can promise you, if you hunt Va’s early bow season in October, unless you are hunting a swamp, crocs are just fine. Afternoon sits temps are generally in the 70’s.

I wear Crocs all day at work... It corrected my plantar fasciitis! I bought a pair that have no holes. The most comfortable shoes ever. Saying that, I've tried walking around some of the hills here, and it's been a nightmare. No traction, no support.

I will reluctantly admit to having owned a pair of Crocs years ago (before they were like $50 at Academy). I bought them to wear canoeing, as I thought they would float and drain easily.

My feet slid around in them, and they broke the first time I took them into the BWCA. And, they seemed to collect twigs and gravel and debris that cut my foot up. Now I'll wear Tevas, or store-brand Chucks with synthetic socks, in my canoe. If I'm in the woods, I'm wearing Rockys, Danners, or plastic wellies.

I figured I'd run out and try to scout for turkey hunt coming up...it a little chilly and they have a good road system so I figure I'd run in with my sneakers....big mistake....should have left the Crocs on. Crocs rule

Wow! That’s some thick ice. Nobody is hand drilling those holes for ice fishing
That's how I know. I ran into a buddy at the barbershop Friday and he was complaining about having to hand drill that much ice last weekend.

Edit: According to him the worst part was he didn't get any fish after all that effort. One more reason I don't ice fish anymore. :)

Upper 40s- mid 50s with 15-20 wind isnt exactly the best weather to be walking barefoot thru the woods.... but I sure ain't turning around and going home..worst part was my Crocs were in the truck :(
