What’s recommended method for ROS?? Funny video no doubt

I tried the sideskirter with a ROS last year but be warned if you are not on the down side of the tree and you get off balanced you’ll be swinging and peeing everywhere. I caught myself mid swing and pee and I’d be lying if I said a step or two didn’t get friendly fired.

Use your feet to walk up the tree and flip upside down... Just make sure you play the wind.

Dan is just keeping it light. I know at least 2 of the beast gear guys have latitude method saddles in addition to their beast stands. May not see the saddles on the videos but that doesn’t mean some of them aren’t using them sometimes and recognizing the value. I would not be surprised if they came out with a saddle platform. Imagine how light that gem would be.

I mean the main problem is every saddle hunter is a scent freak. So we all pee in bottles.

Mmm…no. In a study, bucks preferred doe pee over every other scent….second preferred…human pee. Some guys even pee into mock scrapes with good effect. I wouldn’t worry too much about peeing. Besides, if saddle hunting is so weak as a method it can’t stand up to that little ribbing, we need to do something else.

Yup. A lot of saddle hunters over there. Having a sense of humor is a good thing. Guys that are upset probably have a weak stream and pee on their boots.

I'm almost positive one is in development.

I've used the beast stand all this year, but have a dryad arriving next week.
