The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Yeah I just found out this year in Southwest West Virginia we have a local tracker named Blair Smyth - PM me for contact info because I don't remember where I found it. I communicated with him via text ahead of time to introduce myself and stored his contact info in my phone. He says his service is free, but I feel I should compensate his time and gas if I need to use him. I was just so happy to hear we had a local service like this.If had known about their services two years ago I wouldn’t have lost the largest buck I’ve ever shot.

Not sure how united blood trackers works, but the nose to the ground group will kick trackers out if they try to charge. You can certainty tip them as you see fit, but they can’t request payment.

The men and women of Nose to the Ground have already been hard at work this season. If you need tracking services look them up on Facebook, if you don’t Facebook PM me and I’ll put you in contact with a tracker. I’ll keep bumping this throughout the season so it’s fresh in everyone’s minds.

I thought the same thing. They were actually bred for hunting though.
Wow. I never would have come to that conclusion. Must have been bred to help out with sika deers.
IIRC they were originally bred to flush badgers and other burrowing critters.
Yeah they were bred to go in holes. As for tracking deer with one, I hope you have some time
Would be the next dog I get for tracking. They are excellent.
