Dont put meat in a cooler and then put said cooler in freezer and expect it to thaw out anytime this century in the refrigerator lol. Still took 3 more days to thaw out(enough to get the muscle groups seperated, they were still partially frozen) in the fridge after transferring everything to uninsulated totes.

Oh man. Sorry to hear that. I hope it wasn't a styrofoam cooler.

Just my opinion, but you really don’t want to put warm meat in a cooler, then put the cooler in a freezer. The cooler acts as insulation preventing the meat from freezing in a timely manner. It could take many days for meat in that setup to freeze. The meat could actually spoil. Same with stacking freshly cut meat in the freezer, the center of the stack takes a long time to freeze. You would want to spread it out let it freeze, then stack it after it is frozen. Good Luck!
