Ohio

I live in Tuscarawas, hunt some private in Harrison and some public in Meigs and Gallia. First year in the saddle.

I live in Circleville, OH and regularly hunt public land in Pickaway, Ross, and Hocking County. When time allows I enjoy going south/southeast to hunt/camp on a couple of the larger State Forrests as well as Wayne NF.

From Tennessee, hunt public in SE Ohio. More like struggle than hunt though. I've hunted public in 6 states and been largely successful in all of them but Ohio is by far the most complicated and frustrating for me.

I live in Lake County, and hunt around here and in SE Ohio. This Saturday will be my first time hunting from a saddle. I am REALLY looking forward to it!

Crawford County on private. First year using a saddle will be this year and I couldn’t be more excited.

I've hunting some public in Ohio, I'm on the fence this year because the non-resident fees have gone up.

I appreciate those of you who have only described spots in terms of county names, not specific property names. ;)

Yeah these new fees suck. And I just spent $335 for my KY tag so I’ve got some $$$ in tags this year! I’m still going, but it will sting a little more this year lol

You couldn't waterboard those names out of me.

I think unfortunately it means Ohio is no longer the sleeper state it once was!

This’ll be my 2nd year in a saddle. I live in the Cincinnati area. I hunt public and private in Clermont and Hamilton counties and beyond.

I live in NW Ohio and mostly hunt public land. Second year hunting in a mantis and love it.

I live in WV but have hunted Ohio since 2014. I’ve killed a buck every year from the saddle over there. All in Meigs county.

We did ten years of deer camps at Forked Run in Meigs, before moving to Pike county. Lotta good memories in Meigs!
