Ol Nutterbuster gettin it done!

@Fl Canopy Stalker, thanks for the shoutout.

I really enjoyed that hunt. Haven't chased ungulates since October pronghorn. Videos are on indefinite pause because life is busy. All the craziness over industry deregulation and the Sackett-vs-EPA stuff has made my nonprofit work exponentially busier. Trying to make sure the next generation can still catch reds and shoot swamp bucks!

What rifle and caliber for the buck in the pic? Looks like a Tikka.

My pleasure buddy. We have some newer guys who might not be as familiar with your channels so just wanted to make sure guys were following you to support the cause. Congrats on that buck and also on the busier non profit causes!

So are his videos still up on YouTube? I haven’t been able to find them. I probably watch his gutless method video 2-3 times a year for a good reminder.

Clay hayes has a pretty good gutless video too if I remember correctly. On an elk, but everything is basically the same, just a bit bigger

I've been told you waste too much meat with the gutless method... I've been doing all mine this way for 25 yrs and can take everything home but the toenails. No blood and guts and nothing to haul away at home.

I did my first gutless method pack out this year on my archery buck. I definitely didn't get as much off of it as I would cutting it up in my shop, but it went ok. Maybe I'll check out that clay hayes and some other videos and see if there are any tips that could make it go better.
