I saw a much better deer last Sunday but couldn’t get on him. When this dude came into the flat I was sitting 2 younger bucks left like their a** was on fire. He walked right to me like he owned the place. He’s definitely the oldest buck I’ve taken. Teeth were nuns and he has scars all over his neck, back and shoulders. 95 yard shot 1/4 away went in just in front on hip and I recovered the bullet under the hide in front of offside shoulder. 18 yards to recovery.

Mature deer are a trophy whether they are 80” Florida bucks or 180” Iowa giants. Congrats.

Very true. I had to adjust expectations when I moved to Florida. And I enjoy it exactly the same as chasing the bigger racks when I travel out of state to hunt.

Great Florida buck 10essee!

Nice. Really like the way you mounted it on the weathered wood

Thanks I’ve had that piece of wood for several years waiting on the right head to put on it. Figured no better for a weathered old tree scag than a weathered old buck.

Nice job

I love seeing quality FL bucks
