Oldest saddle hunter

I was curious as to who is the oldest saddle hunter here and how long have you been saddle hunting? I remember many years ago there were saddle hunters before saddle hunting became popular.

63 this upcoming season. Certainly not the oldest but getting up there. Been saddle hunting since 2014. This is my first saddle.

Be 61 this year and only have 2 years under my belt. Sure wish Id found this in my younger years but sure planning on getting as many more years as I can.

57 but I saddle hunted off and on since the mid 1980’s. This was my first saddle. Really it was just a swiss seat with a nylon tether. It’s in the carry case it came with 8 or 10 screw in bolts with loops for your tether.

I will be 70 shortly and just bought my first saddle in January, I guess I’m a bit late to the game .

70 YOA. and started w/an Anderson tree sling back in the 70's. We are certainly a lot safer now than back then!

Didn’t know it was called saddle hunting until the last 10 years.

For the last couple of years researching saddles I was surprised of all of the older hunters that were using saddle, I always thought it was a young hunters game, that is what inspired me to give it a try.
