This is a pic of the “Endangered “ Louisiana Swamp Bear. I’ve personally lost a pair of Moultrie M888 cameras to these destructive creatures this year. This camera belonged to another hunter at the lease but was able to take this last pic before the carnage. The date/time is incorrect.

Wow, how big do they actually get? I heard these are trying to increase the number of bear down there

The Male bears are supposed to be between 300-400 pounds but can get larger. The bear in the last pic is definitely a trophy animal. The bear has been removed from the endangered species list and is a nuisance to the areas of the state they inhabit. I posted a link to the LDWF bear page below.
