OOAL new product (The BOB)

In those situations, hunting a ring of steps, you can shimmy to the other side of the tree, roll your tether to line up and boom your facing out the other way lol
I do agree though it would be nice to have options
For sure, and I use a ROS in conjunction with a platform when I hunt now. The option to stand up, turn around and sit down is more appealing to me than walking around the tree and having to move my tether, worry about my bow on the hanger etc. more movement, more noise, or potential for noise.

Do you not care for the tether across the chest to face backward option?

I personally don’t mind that at all for a short stint. Although I’m usually too slow to be aware of something behind me until it’s too late to make this move. I blame the squirrels. ;)

Yeah, the tether across the chest is just okay, definitely a good option. Heck, the buck I shot last year was from that position and it worked great. I think I would rather be able to sit down for longer periods of time if need be I guess. Having all the options at my disposal at any given time appeals to me. I've tried the .5 as a saddle platform and it works pretty well, but I would prefer it to be even smaller. I'm not an engineer, but I would think you could do away with the cables on the sides of the stand if the platform was say the size of the mission or so.

Why not just wear your saddle backwards? Bridge behind you. Leaning out away from the platform. Much easier than having a bridge over your shoulder. No real weak side to worry about. #dumbidea

You wouldn't have to worry about peeing on your shoes as well. As long as you you pull your saddle down first.

This isn’t BOB and may be old news, but this ridge runner 2.0 looks pretty slick.

That’s the one I’ve been waiting for! Is it actually called RR 2? Or you just calling it that?
