Ahhh! That’s what I have mine on too. I scraped off everywhere they met up. I had to go pick up a longer bolt to add my double step back on to the top. I think the original idea on those was to just replace the step and not add on to the stick. I put mine on the bottom and moved my double step to the top.

I want mine on the top. When I stand on top of my helium sticks I feel like they handle side pressure better on the top step then on the bottom. I stood on my shikar mini and just felt like it would handle side pressure better and be less likely to kick out if the scout was above the button.

I get that this came out before the solo scout. But why today would somebody buy a mini shikar and then a scout for a stick and replace the bottom step, when they could buy a solo scout for half the price? Would have been nice to have a new bolt, especially since I inquired about it with my order. Would have even been happy to pay for it if there was an option.

Yeah if you asked about it definitely think they should of sent bigger bolt being aware of the intended use.
