How do you get shots off as a right handed shooter in the 3-6 o’clock range with the tree being at 12 o’clock. How do you get into position to make that kind of shot using that platform?

Again, without having my hands on it, I think I'd do it the same way I do on any platform I use. I'd put my left foot against tree right above platform, right foot on the platform tight to tree or post, and rotate to the right bow over bridge, and pointing my toes at 3oclock. I'd be able to shoot to 12-5oclock in a jiffy. If the deer was directly behind me, i'd turn my feet same manner, but the opposite way to shoot 6oclock. It depends on the deer's travel direction too, that would dictate which way I'm turning.

I think the way the step sticks above the little platform will help in resting the side or sole of your boot against it while sideways.


It's not a platform you stand on and spin around, nor is it trying to be, at least I don't think from what I can tell looking at it.
 
@kyler1945 any idea if those stand offs will stack on top of the stock LW stick ? I want to buy one to use with my 3 LWs I’m thinking I’d rotate the step but leave the stand off in position to stack.

I’ll set it on a 1” tube when I get home. My guess is if not you can grind the teeth in bottom of throat of standoff Bracket to make it work good though
