I have one its fine and all but I feel the angle is so far from the tree I have to have so much tether out its not really useable. I weighted it with my daisy chain on it it was 5 pounds. Thinking about putting it up for sale and getting a Mission basically same weight but bigger. Had one before and really liked it. Am I missing something?

I’ve only tried one out for an hour and was not wild about the tall traction knobs on the top. I was getting some boot noise every time I moved. I loved the angled front though. Was super comfy when leaning. I ended up not buying because then I would have needed a new pack. My predator is still getting the job done fine so so far, I’ve struggled through the gear dump urge.

The only gripe I have with mine is that on smaller trees (8” diameter roughly) the batwing doesn’t want to bite real well, it seems like the bolt is a little too long and is hitting first. I’m thinking about turning the bolt around.

I did that to mine. I think they ship now with the bolt turned around the other way. Post a pic if you can.

I’ve seen Chad Rice make the same suggestion on Facebook to flip the bolt around so you are right on with that fix.

I switched my batwing for the Tethrd bracket they sell- it’s wider and seems to hold a little better
