Optics for a shotgun

Anyone have suggestions for shotgun optic for my Encore 20gauge?

Primarily for turkey in the spring. In the fall, double as squirrel and (rifled) slugs for deer. All shots will be fairly close range, but my eyes need some help.

Like to keep it in the $100-$200 range.

You can find a decent LPVO in that price range.. Primary arms and vortex both and 1-4 and 1-6 optics. You can leave on 1x when turkey hunting and with the lit reticle it's like using a red dot then you can increase the magnification for longer shots you will be taking on deer.

I have the leupold 1x4x20 that is a tack driver for my mossberg 695 12 guage.

Would love to find a 20 ga. for my encore. Bought a 12 ga. couple years ago wish i went 20 ga.

Not to derail the thread, but me too. I use a 20” 12 gauge on my Encore and it is amazingly light. With TSS, 12 gauge just isn’t necessary anymore. I remember Midsouth Shooters Supply used to have the Encore shotgun barrels for around $225. I should have bought a 20 gauge back then.
As for the OP, I have FF3 on all my turkey guns, but they are dedicated turkey rigs.

Picked mine up on gunbroker for around $250 last year. I know TC is proud of them new. Not sure what they normally sell for used.

I may give a red dot a try.
