Absolutely love this thing!

How quite is the multicam? If I understand it is slightly stiffer than the green.

I have both. I got the multicam when Dane started making the large versions. As far as I can tell it’s not any noisier than the green. When I get back I will try to load a video of the two together and see what they sound like side by side.

I picked up a retrofit kit to try out with my transformer. It might honestly be overkill, but we'll see how it goes. I feel like a 2 panel and the hammock kinda double up.

Might have to test out another saddle with it and see if it's just as good with the single panel.

Are you using your existing saddle or their harness? I've got a flex that I love, but this thing looks pretty interesting.

I use it with a Cruzr XC with a retrofit kit but I also use it with the Dryad belt/harness that I bought with it. I find it very comfortable either way.

Hey I am cool with this idea, but help me out with this use case? Is this for hiding from your wife when she comes looking for you in the woods?

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a Dryad Drey. Before I do, I wanted to ask some questions from the resident Drey experts.

1) I'm comfortable using my climbing platform with a conventional saddle/bridge. Has anyone tried the LWHC or equivalent with a single connection harness such as a rock climbing harness, and would it suffice?

2) I have what I feel are the two most comfortable saddles out there, but they both serve specific purposes for me. One is the Overwatch Outdoors Transformer. I thinking about retrofitting the Drey to the Transformer, but I know some have indicated that it is not as comfortable to layer another saddle between you and the Drey. I also have a Tethrd Phantom that is stripped down that could fit "flatter". In y'alls opinion, would this be close is comfort to the full setup?

3) I currently have about a 37-inch waist, but I may need to put cold weather gear on. That puts me close to the 40-inch cutoff between a small/medium and a Large/Extra Large. In y'alls experiences which size would be the best fit?

My first thought is to just get the full kit with lineman loops and add the retrofit straps so I can use either the full setup or just add the hammock to an existing saddle. This would definitely give me maximum flexibility, but if the two saddle fit isn't worth it, I'd reconsider. If I'm better off just calling them, then I'll do so. I'm just not accustomed to getting people on the phone nowadays.

Love this site and thanks for any insight y'all might have.

Dane is incredibly helpful. His customer service is second to none. If you reached out he’d definitely help you. when you say you have a 37 inch waist do you mean pant size or actually measured. If you measure 37 I’d go with S/M I measure 36 and my S/M Drey LL works great no matter how many layers I’ve got on. I also don’t see a need to do the LL KIT AND a retro fit I’d go either or. Either way you can’t lose!

It’s taking a nap when you’ve been grinding out dark to dark sits and you need a little shut eye just to keep going
