Heck yeah! These things are much better than my old Cranfords. I can even reuse the pouches I had before, and fit 6 in each. I went with the DIY amsteel kit and arrow toggles. They were a pain to make, but I think I'll like them better than straps. It appears that I may be able to use these with an aider. If so, I can just use 5 or 6 to get up a tree. I'll test the aider out this weekend. If you could be comfortable enough to use these with aiders, I don't see how sticks could compare. You'd be half way up a tree before you unpacked your sticks, and then completely packed up when you get back down.
