As I’m laying here not sleeping, I had a thought. Does anyone use their saddle/RCH and climbing method of choice to hang stands or set up ladder stands for later use? It’s always very sketchy trying to shimmy up the ladder to attach it to the tree. Climbing up to where the seat hits and pulling it up with a rope seems like it would be safer and possibly easier. Would love to get other’s thoughts on this, unless this is the kind of topic that will get me account shut down, in that case please delete. :tongueout:

U are on the right track... Much safer putting up and taking down ladder stands using ur saddle....I use mine trimming branches around the house a bunch also. Makes a good deer drag

Using a saddle is the safest way to put up ladder stands.
I used mine at work hanging of my scaffolding to reach around to the side of a chimney and on a roof as a safety harness.
