Ozone devices...

I bought this one too and 10 minutes in a bathroom eliminates all musty odors from steamy showers. I tried 20 minutes and smelled ozone for 3 days.
It is too much for home use unless you like power.
I noticed the downstairs bathroom where I ran it for 20 minutes there is no black mold growth in the toilet after a week like before. I think it killed every nearby living thing.

I have one similar; I hang my stuff in the bathroom shut the door; put a towel at the bottom of the door. Run it for 20 min; then transfer my stuff to a plastic tote. Note: I will open the door to the bathroom after it is done and give it about 5 min to air out some of the ozone before I go in and get my stuff.

Scentpurge 50 from amazon work well in a tote. I’ve had for 5 years and the power buttons are getting to be unreliable but for less than $50 I’ll take it.

Just a reminder that ozone is a poisonous gas and can cause cancer. I use it also, but feel the need to throw that out there once in a while.

Ugh I know...I’m doomed.

I have the whitetailr scent purge 50 I have had for 3 years, emits enough that you can run it a while without cooking your gear (first lite) and comes with 110 and 12v cords. I run it in my tub for the hour and a half ride or truck over night to get my pack and boots.

Whats up with first lite and ozone. I had the Sanctuary set last year, ozoned with no noticeable degrade.

I’ve been ozoning mine for 3 years as well with no issues with the little scent purge 50. I do know the Scent crusher bag has a very high output and will turn the suspenders and elastic waistbands into bacon if run too long.

Interesting, I know that it can cause respiratory issues, chest pain, wheezing etc. and worsen chronic respiratory issues like Asthma, Bronchitis or Pneumonia but i have never seen Cancer mentioned in relation to Ozone until your comment. But then again what doesn't cause Cancer now a days. I am curious where that information exists regarding that correlation?

Anyone know anything about the Ozonics 400? Is it available anywhere?

I may be wrong MathewsShooter. I just remember that every class I've been to strongly recommends not breathing it.

Or maybe cure your cancer.

Agreed we def should not be breathing it...I was not trying to be adversarial, so please don't take it that way. I have just done a good bit a reading on Ozone and had never seen Cancer mentioned. It would not surprise me a whole lot if it did really!

That's the one I bought and I love it, So much I bought a couple more.

I have that one too, and I like it, but I fired it up on Friday and it isn't emitting O3. It runs and puts out air but it isn't O3. Its 2 years old.
But the manufacturer sells a repair kit ~$33 so I ordered the kit. While I was on the website, I saw another unit that is slightly larger (on sale now for $103), so I ordered one of those, too. I will have an 800 output for the laundry room and my 600 unit will travel with me.
Only one minor complaint about the A2Z6, is the tube port...the hose pops off if you aren't careful. It needs a slight mod.

I made my own ozone closet out of a large vertical storage shed that I put wire shelving and hanging rods to hang all my clothes. I spent less money it than I would on the scent crusher closet and its mouse proof, so it can stay in my pull barn.

I use and action packer plastic tote for when I'm traveling and just run the hose into the shed of tote depending where I am. I run it for 10 min before and after each hunt. I have not ruined any clothing yet. But I don't have to wash clothes unless they get bloody. I feel like that is a win.

Gotta love anything that's mouse proof. I despise them.

I have a large commercial generator the will nuke about 2000 sq ft. Word of caution, if you use it in your trucks it causes the windows to fog up and will affect the dashboard and other plastics, so use sparingly. It certainly kills any odors in there. I run this one for about 5 minutes to nuke a Toyota Sequoia.
