Pacseat mods: Putting the 'pack' in Pacseat, & other things

Doesn’t that defeat one of the biggest benefits of the PAC (pack) seats over other seats?

I don't know about that. I just sling it on over my pack. Take it off and sit w/my pack on if I'm going to be moving soon. It weighs nothing and don't even know its on there.

That’s what got me to pull the trigger when I bought mine years ago.

Picked up an original Waldrop in a trade. Might’ve been because this thread… haven’t had a chance to hunt it but have played around enough to think I’ll like it. I figure it will ride in the truck with me until hunting season and pull camp/sports chair duty. Attached a molle water bottle holder and lashed it to the underside of my bed cover. Already I’m liking the size and how flat the seat sits.

Agree...and it's versatile! Camp chair, hunt chair, extra chair, turkey hunting chair, etc, etc....

Way too fun to attach things to it. I started thinking it out and had my kill bag, a waist bag, burlap, etc all packed and realized I needed to keep it fast and light for off season or I’m going to look like a psycho on the sidelines.

I don't know about you, but I'm not concerned about how I look when in the woods hunting! Look at it this way-if you think you'll need it, & it'll fit on the PacSeat, then you're good to go!

Agree to an extent. But left to my own devices I am prone to way over do it. Working on streamlining some. Coffee is great in the stand on a cold morning but I don’t need to be able to make it fresh.

Caffeine also makes you sweat , sweat creates stink .

Marsupial Large Game Bag seems to fit nicely attached to the crossbar. Seat still works as it should, can’t tell it’s there when seated. Should make for a nice catch all pocket and give me a load shelf for hauling. Plan on splicing some amsteel loops to be able to attach the load lifter straps to the top bar and allow more adjustment/volume for meat or gear.
