Pacseat mods: Putting the 'pack' in Pacseat, & other things

Anybody know of a coupon code for this thing? $50 s/h charge is a little hefty for me.

They used to be over $300 I believe. The $225 they cost now is kinda like a coupon code. I doubt you’ll find a code. But never hurts to ask.

Yeah, I bought mine last year and paid $360 with shipping. I wish I would have waited. I’m pretty sure I would prefer the turkey model.

For somebody who has one—How high off the ground is the seat on the Turkey seat or how much lower is it than the regular seat?
Thanks, Rick

Good Morning Hunters and Merry Christmas! I found this forum just recently and hope to help with any questions concerning The Waldrop PacSeat.
The Standard PacSeat has a seating height of approx 15" off the ground while the Turkey Seat is approx 8" off the ground. There are multiple adjustments for the seat itself as well as the rear leg that will alter the sitting height. We realize that the shipping costs seem to be high, but we have no control over UPS and their costs. We charge a flat $50 for boxing and shipping. We make nothing on the shipping costs. It comes down to the size and amount of space it takes up in their trucks. We have fought with them for months on this. The box is 38"x15"x5". Sometimes we get the costs right other times we loose just depends on where in the country you are. Most of the time we loose but thats the cost of doing business. We have focused hard on getting the cost of the actual seat down to a reasonable amount. We hand make these seats in Georgia from the bending of the tubing, Welding, sewing of materials, powder coating and assembly. All made right here in the USA!!! We have gone from, early this year, making 6 seats per month to 30 per week. We have invested greatly in the product and tools to make the seats as well as the GameSac and Thunderhorn Quiver mounts.
Please let me know how I can help!!! I do have a $20 off Coupon Code that we have in the past reserved for Veterans should anyone be interested.

I have the standard and like it. The only improvement would be if it could be carried from the back and the seat used for a shelf W/O the brace cutting into your back. Thanks and keep up the good work.

I assume you referring to the shelf in terms of packing out a deer for carry out so that there is something for the game to rest on. We have developed a GameSac, and are in the process of modifying the seat with a fixed pouch on the back of the seat for the GameSac to rest in and be cinched up to the frame. If you look at the our web site www.waldroppacseat.com, you can see the pics of the GameSac. Ill post more here when we have the pouch implemented and tested. Thank you for your input. We greatly appreciate it.

We were very fortunate in that Thunderhorn reached out to us to see if we could make a mount specific for their quiver. We spent a couple of months working on it and field testing it and have just completed it. I will send you pics of it shortly and we will have the mounts posted to our web site within the next week or so. The trick was to make a mount that required no modifications to the seat and could be adjustable on the seat and installed by anyone who had our seat. Tricky but we got it done. Stand by and ill send you some pics.
