Patent Research - Tethrd

Lol, if you go back and read your own post you'll discover your purpose for posting. That's all I was saying to the individual questioning your intent.

And, the information is fodder for ambulance chasers and just generally interesting for those who are interested for no other reason than interest. I fall in that camp, lol.
Ha ha....I quoted the wrong message. Meant to quote the same one you did. Same here, just wasting time on the internet. Nothing more

I find this thread interesting, I have nothing to bring to the plate so I’m keeping my mouth shut, put me in the wasting time camp, we still have 2’ snow banks here.

Amen. This is dumb.this forum is getting bad with this stupid stuff.
My name is bob

It's not dumb. Not everyone wants or needs a greater knowledge in this area, and it's easy enough to move on if that's where you fall.

Understanding the patents effecting the hunting industry and the gear most of us use may not interest everyone, but kindly, it's not at all dumb.

If I could patent ****ting in the woods, I'd make millions. I think with hunting gear, in the long run, it's better for a companies to focus on making a higher quality product for a good value than relying on patent protection for dubious "technological enhanements".

For real tho. I miss the days before the saddle hype got started. A lot of innovation but also a lot of talk about deer hunting and tactics.

I'm relatively new to the sight, so I missed the good ole days I guess.

But, I have to say, the most innovative ideas I've seen from this site have been shared freely. It'd be interesting to know if patent hawks have swooped in and stolen them.

I don't think the deer hunting and tactics talk here are earth shatteringly unique, minus the innovative approaches to gear setups which increase efficiency when employing specific tactics that have been around the block.

Seems like theres pretty good folks on here who generally keep an open mind, which is what I like most.

Not sure they're patented yet...but ideas have definitely been "borrowed" and capitalized on...
Look familiar?

Glad you’ve learned a lot here. I have too.

Yes, to a product from a major manufacturer and yes, because I read through a bunch of the old stuff on the site too.

The significant things in the tethrd platform patent look to be the wings and the traction around the outer edge of the platform. But who knows it’s so damn wordy. That’s all I got out of it.

The ornamental design patent:
