Was that the stuff they used on the backpacks? I thought in a THP podcast they were talking about a fabric Karol came up with?
I pretty much stopped watching THP too. I'm not sure why. Why did you? I'm curious. I've always liked Greg's solo hunts though.... both turkey's and deer with a bow.Idk. I stopped watching/listening to THP. Do you recall if it was somehow more special than say, Pima? PFAS free at least?
It’s a trademark for the term wisprtuff
Wisprtuff sells, cotton doesn't. lol. It’s a trademark for the term wisprtuff
Apparently you need a fancy name for the fact that cotton is a virtually silent material

What is the gripe with that?
I don’t know man… I’ve bought a lot of clothes that were advertised as cottonWisprtuff sells, cotton doesn't. lol.
THP have a lot of influence on a large public audience and I’m not down with promoting slinging arrows about.
I know you’ve said it’s how it is in FL with the palmettos and everything you contend with. I’m not telling you how to go about your business.
But I’m not going to support or advocate for blind shooting or taking risky shots . So I stopped watching.
Not a chance. But I also wouldn't tell a student that its only about shot placement. Is shot placement important? Absolutely crucial but it is not the only thing. Not anymore.Would you teach that shot at Hunter Ed?
I didn't see that episode either. He's kind of a goofball anymore anyway, I think. Greg, Aaron, Jake, Ted., Nick...... I could hunt with all of them. Not so sure about Zach. Look at me contradict myself. Oh well. I know you guys get what I'm saying. There's a video were Zach took a similar shot on an elk. He took a frontal shot through brush, had no idea where he hit the elk then airmailed another arrow from some much farther distance that centered a tree. He didn't recover the animal. It was frustrating to watch.

I did watch that episode. You're right. Although it was close, the fact the buck suffered means something happened. The shot Zach took during the PA Challenge seemed a bit sketchy as well. Another frontal shot (at close range, 3yds so they say). Looks like legal hours, but it is getting dark and that presents some problems. Zach is to the right of the cameraman, so while there appears to be a clear shooting lane, the buck had just passed brush that would possibly still be in Zach’s way. Anyway, it’s not high percentage imo based on the totality of the circumstances.
Zach gets to watch the buck suffer for some hours before it finally expires, but hey he scored on PA public which was the goal.
Crap happens, but nobody forces us to release an arrow. Or publish a video. JMO.
