Pennsylvania Folks: am I missing a license?

Just curious...where in PA are you headed?

I wasn't trying to kill your enthusiasm, just making a joke...Well, sort of. :tearsofjoy:

I hunted public land on the first day of gun season this year and counted 115 shots...And I wasn't counting the way-far-off echoes either.

In certain areas, it was a legit massacre this year...

Warren Center is where we’re staying, hunting some public nearby.

Good luck. Hopefully it didn't get hit as hard as where I was on opening day of gun season.

They changed the regs this year to allow concurrent buck and doe harvests on opening day, which was a Saturday... And there was a couple inches of soft wet snow, to boot.

It sounded like a war zone where I was at. Most processors filled up quick and were turning people away.

Saw this on the way home the next day. Hope he was strapped down tight... :tearsofjoy:

Thanks will surely report the success!

Well that was a great trip to PA and very educational. No deer were harvested by our party but we saw lots and we had 1 or 2 shot opportunities (misses).
Would do it again!

Nice. See any bucks still holding antlers or all does?

I live 7 miles away from the largest population center in north central Pa.We hunt nothing but DMAP'd properties open to the public with pretty easy access.I lost track of how many deer I saw most days and didn't see three hunters actually in the woods all season.I heard a few shots off in the distance and there but only saw evidence where one was dragged out, other than the ones we killed.I can say that in this part of 2h and 2G.hunters are having zero impact on the deer herd.
