Picking a used Mathews

I have been a Hoyt fan boy for years. However, I finally got smart and decided I would not be buying a new bow every year. In 2015 I bought a Mathews HTR. I also bought a used Matthews switchback XT. I purchased a spare set of limbs for my HTR. The needle bearings were out in the switchback XT I bought, and they still had brand new cams for it. To me, that is the reason to buy Matthews. You can truly shoot their bows for a lifetime. You can always get parts for them.

Hey all - thanks for the replies. Today I went and bought a Monster Chill R from a local guy. The bow is in excellent shape and came with a stabilizer, trophy ridge react pro sight, a case, some 340 spine gold tip arrows, and 6 rage broadheads. I got it all for $400. I'm impressed with how light the bow is and how it feels in the hand. I'm going to take it to my local shop this week and have him look it over, set up the peep, and back down the poundage to 60.

Thanks again for all the info.

I set up a PSE Evoke, my first compound bow in years but when I found a new htr I bought it.
I gave the Evoke to my son.

I could have bought any bow but I was drawn to the nocam.
The no cam blows away all of my past bows from the past and boy did we kill deer dead.
I know the deer keep getting faster..

Mine scales #69@29" and I shoot Victory tko arrows with 50 gr. Halfout , 200 grain head, 30" arrow= 530 grains.
No chrono yet but I have shot 50 yrds and can probly do 70, 60 no problem on my sight plenty of clearance yet.

Lot of good bows mentioned here but do rember this,
There in never a good reason to ever buy a Reezen.
I have it on good authority.
