I had to give up bow hunting about 10 years ago after going blind in my right eye (I'm right-handed). My home state, North Carolina, legalized crossbows around that time, and I bought a cheap one and used it fairly successfully for several years. But...well, it's just not the same to me. (For the record, I have no issues with crossbows. They just aren't for me.) Now that I've been relegated to hunting exclusively out of an old saddle on public land during gun season, I'd like to give a left-handed bow a try. I'm fully aware that it'll take quite a bit of practice, and I won't hunt with it unless I can get to the point where I feel I could use it ethically.

Does anyone have an old LH bow laying around? It doesn't need to be pretty, new, or nice. Ideally, it'd be cheap (around $250 or less). I'm open for trades (let me know what you want/ need), or if in NC, I'm willing to work for it until you see fit. I may not be the sharpest crayon in the box, but I can dig ditches, move rocks, and otherwise save your back.

Appreciate it!

I have a LH Bear charge that I think will need a new set of strings and new rest (you can throw on a whisker biscuit for cheap) that’s been in my closet for a while. What do you have to trade or maybe we can work out a payment. You’d have to pay for shipping though.

I am right handed and left eye dominant and switched to left hand bow without any issue. Dominant arm holding bow makes for better stability. May need to work on draw strenght but you shouldn't have any issues
