The whole COVID thing was so disappointing as a super bug, kinda makes me think one is impossible.I went with nuclear…..although super bug is right there with it for me. It would be way cooler if people waged war with swords, bows and such still. Bunch of sissies……
I agree 100% modern chemical warfare will utilize some virus or bacteria. Covid is a great example of how quickly such an event can spread. Make a mutated super virus. “Accidentally” let it out and just like that a vast majority of the Earth’s population will be eradicated within months. The scary thing is some of these viruses can adapt or mutate to become resistant to medicines and vaccinesBiotech - I voted superbug.
I ruled out any natural disasters because I think we will destroy ourselves before they could (and will) happen.
Warfare is becoming more and more subtle to the naked eye so of the man made options I chose superbug.
I was jut having this discussion with someone last evening. Imagine the calamity that would befall our society if the world wide web suddenly went away. No utilities, no food distribution, no gasoline, no manufacturing . . . . the list goes on and on. We'd be suddnely thrust back into the mid 1800's leaving most without the skills necessary to survive.Internet Broke.
