I like the simplicity and bold breakup that Predator patterns provide, especially the late-season patterns because they match the sparse tree cover so well.
The Camo pattern I actually use the most is plain-old Military Woodland camo. It’s good in our woods for 95% of the season, and it’s time-tested for breakup capability.

My favorite that I currently own, ASAT.

I hate dark camo that makes me look like a dark blob in the tree...

I am almost embarrassed to say it, but I bought a BUNCH of Sitka at 50%-60% off and love the fit. Have full setups in multiple pattern options for cold and warm weather and again...love the fit. I voted for Sitka, but close second for me, based on where I hunt, is Mossy Oak Bottomland (has to be bottomland). Since that specific version of Mossy Oak wasn't listed, I chose Sitka since that's what I have more of.

Dale Thomas from Kiwi Klimbers (climbing spurs) reached out to me asking what camo I would typically use for hunting here in the US. He wants to make some graphics for the shin cups and do some photos for his website. So, I'm trying to get an idea of what camo patterns are most popular.

If you select a camo from the poll that has numerous patterns (for example: Realtree), please add in the comment section the pattern of Realtree camo you like (such as Edge, Extra, etc.).

If you select Other, please do the same (post a comment detailing your favorite camo pattern).
Are they still considering making spurs for hunting, or really hunting friendly straps for the spurs?

I like the looks of a lot of patterns up close BUT....

Most patterns, in my opinion, become a blob at a distance. The tighter or more detailed the pattern the more it blobs-up at distance. ASAT does a good job of letting the pattern "breath" giving space between the shapes and breaking up the outline, preventing the blob effect. Broadside does a good job of this too, but the areas I hunt are very thick so I don't need all the white to help me blend in with the sky.... you can't see the sky looking up at my tree sites. If I were hunting big open hardwoods with sky behind me I'd definately go with Broadside. ASAT just seems to fit all of my hunting areas best and breaks up my outline best.

If that makes any sense.... just my opinion/observation.

Likewise. I use a light pattern when I hunt the open hardwoods (natgear), but use darker browns and greens(BDU camo) when I'm down low in the pines. I'm a fan of mixing camo too.
