Predator or Ridge Runner?????

I’m torn between these two platforms. I’ve watched countless videos and it seems like everyone ends with “you can’t go wrong” they are both great platforms. Is there anyone thay has both and likes one over the other?? Why? I wear a size 13 boot if that makes any difference to anyone.

Is slightly better packability or having a little more width for your feet more important to you. If it's the first, buy the predator. If it's the second, buy the RR.
 
I have only used the predator for what its worth, but its been great. Plenty of room for me on the platform and I wear size 13 Muck boots. Very solid. Gives me great confidence when standing on it and using it.
 
I don't think that you can go wrong with either. I have the podium and love it. I like the width it allows me to have my feet set wider.
 
I have the ridge runner and really like it. Have used the predator and also like that prefer the ridge runner but I feel the predator is more compact and packs easier Good luck can't go wrong with either
 
I’ve had both.

The predator was surprisingly more packable and a little more wieldy.

I also prefer it for the 180 turn around away from the tree.

The ridge runner is more sturdy on the tree but not enough to surpass the predator overall in my opinion.
 
Thanks for the great feedback. I am leaning towards the predator. I wish the wing was a little larger to push off but it doesn’t sound like that has been an issue for anyone.

Have both, love both. The RR might be better for the larger feet imo. The RR is wider. The predator is easier to pack in and out.
 
The buttons on the ridge runner seem small. Has anyone had any issues with the straps falling off while trying to strap to the tree?

Not a problem at all for me. I use the castration band on the side that never comes off as suggested by other members here. It works perfectly.
 
same as above. i use castration bands on the RR and the podium.
 
I have both the Predator and the RR. If I could have the RR platform with the Predator attachment style I think I'd have the perfect platform for myself. As it stands now I think I prefer the Predator simply because I much prefer the way it attaches to the tree.
