if you had to choose which to stand in all day..how would you set up..and which would you choose to be your go to for saddle hunting... I have the predator, and thing using the whoopie strap sucks compared to the buckle system at camming to the tree...yet..have WE steps...to get up tree..now debating on the Perch..././/??? anyone out there have both or tried both?

I went through this dilemma early this season and wound up selling my perch. It worked fine. But the adjustability of the predator (or any platform with a post and stand offs) is gonna be more comfy.

I like the Perch in combination with an additional stepp or two off to the sides, but not on its own for sits 4 hours or more. I have some trouble with setting the other steps on the same plane. Haven’t tried the predator but have a ridge runner which I find very comfortable for longer sits as it’s much bigger

I don’t guess I really understand why someone would choose the perch. Don’t they weigh about the same as other platforms? And if you carry the same amount of WE steps with both, you can get a couple feet higher having a stand-alone platform

A perch is about 1.25 lbs where as my mission is 5 and a predator is like 3. The trade off is the inability to level the perch.

I like the perch, got it second hand saved a little money. I use it on a primal step with WE style rope. With vet wrap on the primal step it locks in and is super quiet and solid.
