My friend just got into saddle hunting
New saddle
He sent me this pic asking if this should be of concern? I didn’t think so but I told him I’d ask on here

That’s the splice for the continuous loop and completely normal.

That's just a locked brummel.. where the loop is locked together and the tail ends feed back into the loop... you're all good there

Bought it new in the spring. Didn’t even think about it until my buddy texted a pic of his

This ^^ Unless you do a really long taper on the bury, you’ll see where it ends! mine poke out on the regular, but I doubt it’d come apart if it weren’t buried at all.
