This was my 4th hunt "1 stickin" this year. I started off this Oct with 5 beast sticks w/ 18" aiders and a Predator with no intention of changing my setup. I killed this buck on Oct 28 using 1 beast stick w/ a 32" double step aider and a Mission. I really enjoy the 1 stick method and rapelling down is awesome. Without a doubt this is the way to go for hunting the mountain. I'm not sure if this is going to be my final setup though. I'll probably tinker with some things to go even lighter. Anyway, here's the details of the hunt. Killed Oct 28 at around 10:15 am, top of the mountain sitting in a "boots on the ground" pinch point/travel corridor with heavy fog and a light mist. 12 yard shot, both lungs and heart. Ran about 50 and piled up. I heard him crash but lost sight of him due to the heavy fog. Thanks for all the info on here, great stuff!Photo Resizer 2020_10_29_03_01_16.jpgPhoto Resizer 2020_10_29_03_01_35.jpgPhoto Resizer 2020_10_29_03_02_44.jpgPhoto Resizer 2020_10_29_03_03_38.jpgPhoto Resizer 2020_10_29_03_03_53.jpg

What is that pack?

I cut off the straps and sewed some triglides on. I have this attached to my saddle and it holds all my rappelling gear, hys strap (bow holder, windfloaters, etc), and I pack my saddle into it as well.
