Pulled the trigger.. RX7

I got it back in January of this year. I love how fast it zings the arrows but the cam system isn’t near as smooth as the Aluminum Ultra from last year. And it’s really not all that light for a carbon fiber bow. I do like where they placed the stubby style stabilizer. The bow weighs like .2 ozs less than my aluminum bear species lt. I would sell it but after all the begging I did so my wife would let me get it, I am positive she would kill me if I sold it. So it’s my heavy arrow set up and I use the bear for squirrel and small game arrows

I shot the rx5 at my shop last year but decided to go with the v3 27 at that time. The next RX7 is definitely a nice improvement as far as I can tell. Sounds like you need to sell and upgrade to the rx7 lol! Or trade and buy a ventum pro and pocket the cash lol

@Fl Canopy Stalker oh and about the wife.... if she is anything like mine you could buy a new bow every year and she will never notice lol. Mine doesn't care to look st any of my bows long enough to notice if I got a new one or not lol. Just gotta have a secret bow fund lol.

Yea I have a 32” DL so I am somewhat limited on which models I can get. I’ll have to check out the 7 to see if the cam system has been improved. I see the weight is .3 lbs lighter according to the Hoyt sight

mine absolutely notices. She works in finance and keeps a close eye on the “books”. And she often times hunts with me so she has first hand knowledge of the toys I possess

The rx7 ultra is supposed to be even better than the regular rx7. I shot both and agree that the draw cycle is smoother on the ultra and that it's more quiet. Ultra is 34" ATA so it would be your option st 32" draw i think. Just check out some of the reviews on YouTube.

I have always been sure to have a secret fun fund. Like when I win a fishing tournament or something I put some into it. Or if I sell hunting or fishing stuff that goes into the fund as well lol.

Also a good loop hole for stuff under $200 is if you put it on your gas card. I pay for gas with a CC and pay it off each month to make sure no one steals my debit card number. Some months I just "drive" more than others lol.

Of course this is all in good fun and I would never advocate anyone to spend beyond there means. I'm kinda a Dave ramsey type guy. So gotta be sure to keep your "mentals and your chicken" right.
