Finally pulled the trigger this morning on a full saddle system from tethrd. Been watching videos going crazy about saddle hunting for months and months, now in 4-5 weeks I'll get to start playing around with my own.

Was in a toss up over a predator platform, the lwcg platform, or a ROS, I decided for now to go with the predator due to reading lots of posts on here about it being an easier transition from a lock on. I figure I will try the squirrel steps down the road as I get comfortable with the saddle system.

Along with the mantis and predator I got the sys hauler, sys hauler es, tether, linesman, hys strap and pro pack.

Gotta say I feel like a kid on Christmas morning waiting to open presents.

Also pulled the trigger on 4 double steps from DanO for my lone wolf sticks, and a Badlands pursuit pack thanks to the 50% off discount code on this forum. So if you haven't came to the conclusion yourself I'm ready to dive head first in all of this.

50% discount on Badlands? What are their packs running? Last I saw, they were ridiculously high priced. Not sure I could bite the bullet even with half off.

Just looked up that pack. Not a bad price. I'd like to know how well it works for you as I'm looking for a better pack.

It was $100 retail. Shipped it was $59. I justified it by my last trip to academy and seen that a fairly decent sized Magellan pack (something I could fit a predator pack on/in was $75. I didn't go with any of the real high end ones. I've seen enough videos on youtube to know that I should be able to get by with what I carry with the Badlands pursuit.

This will definitely be the most expensive pack I've ever carried. Usually the smallest Magellan pack I can find fits the bill but I mainly only went with this one to have the option of holding my platform in it. I'll have the pack in a few days but won't have the tethrd order for 4 or 5 weeks. I will try to remember to update you on it.

I have the predator, mantis, and hawk heliums. I think you will really like the mantis and predator. I have used a podium and prefer the predator. Now the hard part, waiting.
