Pursuit platforms

by teeth mat do you mean foam knee/back saver pad? supposed to be a dual purpose piece of gear that keeps the teeth from digging in to your back on the walk in and serves as a knee pad also. never ran one, but thought it looked too small for my knees from the pictures I've seen.
Correct....the tooth cover thing. I didn't know supposed to be a knee pad also. It is already in the junk tote. The way I carry my soft platform was like the position they show...small of the back but instead of anything around my waist I have 2 small plastic beaner on either side of my vest above each hip and loops of Paracord on the platform. Easy to attach and detach reaching behind

I also picked up a gen 1 last year. Love it so far, still working on best way to carry in and setup in dark. What is everyone else doing.
S-biner through the molle on the back of my saddle and hooked through the front corner of the platform. It swings quite a bit when covering ground but doesn't move much when sneaking and climbing

I tuck it in the bottom of my pack on the way in. I have a gear tie wrapped around it to carry up the tree on my saddle.

I don’t like to wear my saddle in so everything is in my pack. Saddle goes on first, then if I’m using sticks, they get looped around an amsteel gear noose girth hitched to my saddle at about my left kidney. They’re One sticks so three of the four I use are on my right side at my kidney. The Pursuit platform goes on the left side at that kidney. First stick goes on the tree with a three step aider and that’s about it.
With the Sladder I’m trying to ditch the pack altogether. It’s so light I can carry it off my saddle if need be if I begin wearing the saddle. Haven’t decided yet but probably will ditch the pack this year for early season. The MG bird bag could carry everything or CGM pouches on my saddle.

You guys adding a couple steps to strap to get around tree also?
I use two squirrel steps to get around the tree. I carry the platform in a backpack for long treks to a tree and then wear it like a belt (the platform on my back) as I climb. When I get to the top step, it is easy to install. The Pursuit is much more quiet than my non-plastic platforms.

I haven’t had the need honestly as I target basketball or small beach ball sized trees mostly when climbing and can pretty much shoot all around them on the platform but I found an area where there are overall larger trees and I want the capability available if I need it. Always trying to hunt bucks and not trees.

Gotta say it’s a neat little platform. I ordered the v2 on the last sale and it is definitely beefed up. Every webbing is thicker. More solid under foot. However the v1 came in at just under 16oz and the V2 came in at almost 29oz, that’s almost double. The website said 21 or 22 in places. That’s a pretty big miss. It’s just good to know if you were expecting lighter.
