Anyone using latitude back pack straps and waist belt? Are they any better than the LWCG ones?

I have the TX5 treestand suspension on my .75. I have the LWCG system on my Crossover. I would rather have the LWCG system.

I have not tried the LWCG but I have the latitude straps and they are awesome. Made me switch from carrying the stand on one shoulder like a satchel to carrying it this season on my back like the rest of the world. Makes it feel like a frame pack and is super comfortable now.

Waist belt is average. It functions. A bit thicker than necessary, but workable.

Shoulder straps are turds. Two areas are their downfall. Foam padding is unnecessarily thick, which is not a huge deal. But the real deal breaker is the ends of the shoulder straps are 90 degrees, and sewn. This results in sharp points that really dig into the shoulders. As much as I wanted this system to work out it didn’t. Ended up returning both sets.

The LWCG waist belt is marginally adequate but quickly becomes flimsy under any type of load. The LWCG shoulder straps are decent for the cost.

A better system cobbled together is the marsupial gear waist belt and Kifaru xray shoulder straps. Will take some ingenuity to get it rigged to whatever stand you are carrying but will be better than the latitude or LWCG offerings.

Skip the Kifaru Omni belt. It doe not have any of the needed lashing points in the middle of the belt for attaching stands. Pretty similar in size and shape to the marsupial gear waist belt, but the marsupial gear belt has webbing loops sewn across the entire width of the belt, including the middle section where you would attach it to the treestand.

Said a prayer for you brother. I had fursion surgery on my neck, C3 to 4 & 4 to 5 a while back. It has worked out great so far.

Yeah I remember you telling me I'm C4&5 6&7 really getting bad arm and neck pain.

My right arm was staying numb, It would just be my pinkie and ring finger when I woke up, but by lunch it would be all 4 finger and my under arm up to the elbow. Rhomboid muscle in my back was deteriorating, couldent hold my sholders up even. My surgery has been a blessing. I hope that gives you some hope. I cant turn my head as far either direction and have some stiffness, but I havent been sorry I did it for 1 second. I have a set of the TX5 straps and new XOP belt if you want to try them out. Send me your address and I'll ship them to you. If you like them you can pick up some and send mine back. Dont like them just send them back.

Thanks for the prayers! I'm useing the .5 with the belt for now. I will text you Thanks for the offer I'm gonna use what I have for now.

The latitudes were OK until I started strapping more weight on my stand as the season progressed. The "padding" isn't padding at all. It's hard, stiff and super uncomfortable.

I switched to the Lwcg straps and waist belt, much happier now.

It looks like I'm there MRI not good went to spine center they won't even do shots because of no space. Looks like fursion two to three level. I'm gonna hopefully get to hunt the first week of Ky season with my long bow. Don't know what will happen after that. Probably out for the rest of the season with bow.
