Quiet Bolt Carrying Case

I'm looking for a quiet, easily accessible method of carrying my dozen or so grade 8 bolts to and up the tree each hunt. I currently have a simple pouch, but it lets the bolts bump into each other too much, making more noise than I want. I've looked at ammo belts, but found the material to be noisy when I take the bolt out each time. I thought I'd found the jackpot when I saw this vintage Trophyline step carrier, but I spoke with the fine folks at TL, and they said the openings are designed for Cranford folding steps and therefore wouldn't hold bolts in securely. Has anyone made or seen anything similar that's a great solution for bolts specifically?

Check out one of Nutterbusters youtube videos about bolts. He has something he uses that will probably work for what you are looking for. Some one will chime in with what i'm talking about.

You've tried this style ammo holder? I think the idea is to put your forearm through while carrying them up for easier access.

I just ended up tossing the bolts in a cargo pocket with a hair tie or rubber band wrapped around them. As I use them going up the tree, I'll just put another wrap on the rubber band or hair tie as needed so they don't bang around.

What type of platform are you using with your bolts as a climbing method?

I went with this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000C53GI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I may end up with the cargo pocket method, but I'm just not a fan of the ammo carrier setup (mine or the one you linked)...

I think I saw @Nutterbuster had a video showing his setup and had some kind of pouch like you describe. Perhaps a search of his posts or PM him to ask.

I like the Predator. I've tried several DIY ones, Solo Scout by OOAL and the Wild Edge Perch but really like the Predator. I use a ring of Ameristep steps for shorter few hour sits too. I haven't tried any other platforms but I'm happy with what I have so probably won't switch.
