I am between the Leupold 1400i and Full Draw 3. I can't find as much info on the 1400i.

- Does it have the scan option? How many of you like/use the scan feature?
- Does the 1400i account for steep angles at short yardages for archery setups?
- Are both the Full Draw 3 and 1400i waterproof?

I know the 1400i reaches out further which could be used for rifle hunts, but I never see myself shooting past 275 yards. I have rifle hunted for years and haven't shot past 100. Going out west is something I'd like to do in the future but I still don't see the need for it.

I am leaning towards the Full Draw 3 but everyone's input for further confusion is wanted.
 
I have the 1400i and the answer to your last 2 questions is YES.

I dont know if it scans; never used that function.
