I used the munter last year and hated how much it twisted the rope. I use twin 8.0mm ropes, 9.5 canyontech and 10.1 static. Id like a device that can handle two ropes or one. My primary concern is NOT twisting the rope, if there is a device that can be configured specifically for that. I was looking at the Sterling ATS and petzl pirahna... anyone use these?
 
Those two devices are somewhat large, there are smaller options, also tubular belay devices are another option. I have some devices for sale fairly cheap in the Classifieds, if you want to try something without much cost.
 
It’s hard to find an automatic device that’ll handle 8mm, most will be out of spec. Look at a figure 8 if you’re cool with a manual device. Very versatile.
 
A plate like a Kong GiGi would cover all those ropes too. Brocky has one for sale
 
I think JRB has a couple of videos on how not to twist rope. I mostly use a MRS we with a split tail, so I'm not helpful otherwise.
