I was talking through these with a couple a customers and buddies I had given a couple mounts to and came up with a re-design. We found we can get away with a smaller bracket that sits closer to the tree (easier to put on the tree and less side profile) without limiting movement. I also was able to source a higher quality ballhead as well without any additional costs. Uses the factory strap that comes with the camera for installation. Just mount on the tree and screw the bottom 1/4-20 mount on the camera onto the ballhead.
