Anyone have issues wearing a leafy suit top while in a saddle?

The real question to me is why anyone feels the need to wear a leafy suit off ground level...

I’ll wear mine over regular clothes to Turkey hunt, but I’ve never worn one deer hunting. I have an ASAT leafy suit showing today so I might give it a few sits to see.

I usually wear a t shirt into the woods (crazy hot and humid in FL) and then put my mesh leafy suit top over it once I get in the stand. It keeps me cooler than a long sleeve shirt and keeps the deer flies, gnats, and mosquitos off my arms. Plus I soak it in permethrin to kill ticks that get on me. That way I don't have to spray all my tshirts.

But thanks for the helpful rsponse

I wear my ASAT leafy suit top while in my saddle quite a bit - especially early season. Feels to me like I blend into the canopy more and like others have said it is super light weight for warm days and I treat it with permethrin to keep off the bugs and ticks.

Yeah being in FL I can definitely see why you would wear one. I Turkey hunt a lot by boat and when it’s hot I have on shorts and a t-shirt and I’ll dunk my leafy top in water before I leave the boat and I’m telling ya when it’s hot and the breeze comes thru that mesh it’s like having AC.

I wear one (top only) with no problems. Keeps the skeeters off me when i dont have a thermacell.

Besides a back band not sliding down when you lean forward to drop it I can’t imagine an issue with a leafy suit.
I haven’t even worn my back sling yet, but was wondering how I’d get it out of the way. So I just lean forward and it should fall down…perfect!
I’ve been working a bunch and in the woods less

I religiously wear ASAT leafy suits, jacket, pants and head net in the JX3
They are net based, so they will not cause you to get hot, but they have no insulating value.
I a not a super sly hunter and move around, but when a deer catches me moving, I am able to get away with it with out the deer snorting.
Saturday I had 5 doe come by, one was definitely the matriarch.
She had her head on a swivel, I moved when I thought it was clear, she snapped her head around and locked onto me.
Luckily I wasn't in a compromising position and waited her out and got an arrow into her.
