Ridge Runner + ROS?

I have a Ridge Runner on order. Currently I use a Predator and 2 API Skyhook steps on a OCB for my 360 travel around the tree.
Seeing how the Ridge Runner attaches, it appears there is no way to run the ROS strap behind the Ridge Runner and keep the steps somewhat even with the platform. Has anyone used this sort of setup? If so, how.
I am thinking I might be able to run the strap across the back of the Ridge Runner, (under the strap knobs). Just not sure if this will about the steps to be solid on the OCB.

I may even find that with the width of the Ridge Runner, I will not need the additional 2 steps.

I used a ROS before switching to the ridge runner this year. IMO you dont need the additional steps on the back of the tree with the ridge runner. If you wanted a couple I'd recommend maybe looking at the loggy steps. You could attach those to the RR strap and once cammed over should hold tight.

Don't have a pic yet with them on my RR, but I used the same steps on my Podium and they work great for getting around a tree (I just caution putting all your weight on them and un-weighting the platform as it can start to un-cam the platform. I like the steps on the straps a little higher than level of platform actually.

Thanks for the replies. I had not really thought about putting the steps on the same strap. I will test that out at an altitude of 1 ft. to make sure there are no un-camming issues.

Unless the tree your in is super wide at hunting height you won’t need the extra steps. The angles cuts are great points of contact to push off and remain stable. Sometimes in my ridge runner I stand completely off the side pushing into v-cuts and it is rock solid. Ernie also has a great video on YouTube for the dropshot(6o’clock) were he runs his trigger hand under the bridge and spins so his back is to the tree. I’ve practiced it and gotta say it’s awesome the tether is out of the way and keeps you locked in for the shot

I haven't found the need for extra steps with my RR but I keep the tree size to around that of a telephone pole or like around 15 to 18" The wings go out far enough that you can pretty much get 360 degree shots. I try to set up with my sticks directly facing back from the anticipated deer movement, my platform goes to the left. I shoot right handed so basically at 9 o'clock is my strong side where I expect the most deer travel, my sticks will go up at 3 o'clock and my platform will be at 5 or 6 o'clock relative to the tree I'm in. 12 o'clock is parallel to the general deer movement. This allows me to pretty much cover everything to my strong side and back to about 1 o'clock. I can then back around toward 3 o'clock for shots to my weak side with the Ridge Runner. Does that make sense???

Make perfect sense, thanks. Now I just need to get the RR
