riding with a recurve

Any one know of a scabbard,,,device etc ,,to carry an unstrung recurve lengthways on a bicycle.?In other words, not cross ways on a handlebar mount,cause that is a great way to ruin an expensive recurve.

I use a shoulder strap attached to my longbow quiver. I also did not like placing my bow on the handle bars

I also use a Kathy Kelly strung recurve/longbow case that I have had for many years along with the shoulder strap as seen in the bike picture. The pic with my buck from last season gives a better look of the strap
