Rock climbing gear for hunting

I’d like to get into saddle hunting but the price is outrageous for saddles alone. Is it possible to use rock climbing saddle or saddles used for climbing trees and cutting limbs as a hunting saddle? If so what all would I need to get to be able to hunt and what brands or styles would you recommend?
 
A rock climbing, or work positioning harness, is not designed for immobile positions over a long duration... A rock climbing harness CAN be used as your life support in conjunction with a homemade fleece saddle or Sit Drag.
