That’s a cool video. I use a duck on my lb but jammy on my tether. I agree that failure of rope or mechanical ascender is very slim. I fell 20’ from a hang-on once. I’m well versed on how well we absorb a fall. I got up and walked away. Pretty lucky and really glad I found saddle hunting because it has renewed my faith in climbing up trees again. I feel safer than ever in a saddle but you still have to be careful.
