Shooting a xbow from a saddle is not a problem . I have a Parker Thunderhawk which is very small axle to axle. Make sure you keep an eye on you limbs so you don't hit the tree.
Using xbow from saddle gets exponentially easier when you have a more compact xbow. Used the Equinox last year (1st year) and this year use the Micro Suppressor (both Excaliburs). Much improvement. One of those compact Ravins would be the cat's pajamas.
I’m gonna give this a try I have a Parker tomahawk crossbow it’s small as wellShooting a xbow from a saddle is not a problem . I have a Parker Thunderhawk which is very small axle to axle. Make sure you keep an eye on you limbs so you don't hit the tree.
Totally nood question..... Do you draw once in tree or while still on ground then pull up without the bolt. When I use a lock on or climber I can easily draw while in the tree but I don't see how that can be done in a saddle unless maybe with something like a predetor platform.
Full disclosure, I have never hunted in a saddle but will be this year so don't be too hard on me.
I shot my Hickory Creek mini vertical crossbow from a tree a few weeks ago.
