Looking forward to seeing some new side by side comparisons of some of the new kids on the block (Cruzr S, TX5, and Latitude classic). Also maybe compared to H2, Phantom, and Aero Hunter kite. Anyone have these to compare?

He has a lot of comparison. They are accurate evaluations

Don't see the Cruzr, Latitude or TX5 in this video...
Saddles cost hella money, brother. I'm impressed he got his hands on that many. Then there's the time involved to actually sit in one and hunt with it long enough to have a worthwhile opinion.

If you're interested in the concept of a complete source of video reviews on all saddles and saddle gear, that's something I'm interested in trying to do. I just started this thread to gauge folks' interest:

@Nutterbuster, I very much enjoyed that video, actually watched it awhile back. It was very well made and there was so much detail in his review. I know to own them all is very expensive. I'm just looking forward to seeing a review of these new ones. I know it will probably be awhile before it happens. Most of the new ones out are made to order and backed way up.

If you look he does a video on the cruzr but it is a separate video
He does not have a video on the other two. He just did a recon review.
He buys his saddles. TX5 only custom makes 10 saddles per month. And this latitude is new.

I'm sorry for any confusion. I wasnt asking I want the reviews now for all the new saddles. Just looking forward to a comparison review at some point for all the new (very) similar saddles on the market. And possibly throw in the big name models for a comparison as well.

Saddle preferences are just that.
1. Do you want light, some saddles such as the phantom are just over a pound
2. Do you have a tight budget, some saddles are decent but $100 less than others. Think H2 or recon. Both pretty decent
3. Do you think you will lean or sit in a saddle. A pleated saddle such as a flex or Cruzr or TX5 or a JX 3 are for sitting. An H2 or recon are pretty good
4. Do you value comfort. That preference needs to be experienced but a JX3 or pleated saddles are hard to beat. Or perhaps a recon or this new saddle.
5. Do you have health issues. If you have bad knees a JX3 keeps your knees off the trees.

@MADhunts has great reviews. The saddles are all getting better and better. But they all have their place.

Oldsouth, there are so many saddles coming out it's hard to keep up with all of them. I didn't have a Cruzr in hand when I made the prior videos but I did end up doing a Cruzr XC review.

I also reached out to TX5 and if everything comes together I should have a saddle review in the future. The Latitude was another one I've not gotten my hands on but it looks great and I'd love to review it. I'll have to look into that.

Take care!

Oldsouth, thank you for the comments- I really appreciate that! And you're right, it cost a lot to own them all. I bought all of the saddles in The Ultimate Saddle Review because the review was that important to me. Not to mention so many new saddles are hitting the market on a regular basis that it is becoming hard to keep up with all of them.

I originally started buying every one I could in search of the ultimate saddle. Then I realized that I had saddles sitting in unopened shipping boxes because I had already found a system that I was happy with. I can only recommend that you try saddles until you find one that fits you. I will admit there are a couple models I would like to sit in if only out of curiosity.

I more than opened them and counted up ten I have tried. I almost ordered a method but I cannot see it being much better than the four I have.
I expect to use all four because they are all a bit different.

By reselling the others the losses were minimal. And the others weren’t bad.

Jx3, recon, Cruzr XC and TX5.

I climb SRT so my legs aren't resting on steps on my way up. I am sitting the whole time. I need a saddle that I can sit in for long periods without my circulation getting cut off. I had to sew my own to get essentially a wide sling seat. The JX3 might work OK for this, I don't know. I still haven't seen a fabric saddle specifically designed for this. It's OK. I am saving a lot of money.
